It's free, free, free!

Hey!

Here at Prairie Lutheran we have a weekly newsletter called "The Post." It contains info about the things happening around here during the week. And, like any church that's "new and hip and what's happening now," it's available electronically!!!

If you would like to receive a copy in your email, just email us at info@prairielutheran.org and we'll add you to the "Post list!" We do not sell our email list, we do not share it with anyone other than staff... it is reasonably safe, in other words!

If you do, can I ask you one more thing? Put "from Prairie Pete" in the subject line... doing a little tracking, you know!

Have a GREAT day! Pray for peace!

It's a GREAT day... for DUCKS!

Well, here in beautiful downtown Eden Prairie, we've enjoyed about 2 days now of cold, wet, windy, dark, gloomy, depressing weather... I was going to start with "It was a dark and stormy night..." but that's already been done!

To top that all off, my Twins lost last night... with Johan pitching on top of that! Is it wrong to pray that Detroit loses their next five games and the Twins win all of theirs?

I always wonder about those pro athletes who say that God was on their side...

The really exciting news around here is that... I'm going to clean my office today! If you're in EP and want to check it out, give a couple of months, OK?

Thanks for reading... pray for peace!

12:35 a.m., or Insomnia is a wonderful thing!

Well, things are slowly returning to normal... my mother-in-law is in assisted care, our families are slowly returning to our regular patterns... my wife and my m-in-law are dealing with the occasional swells of ups and downs that come with losing someone.

As I posted earlier, my father-in-law, Andy Sullivan, died unexpectedly on September 23rd. It really drove home the point that none of us knows the time or day God calls us home... the song "People Get Ready" is running through my mind right now...

I appreciate all your thoughts and prayers... as we travel down this new path, I'm lifted up by these words...

1 Cor. 13:12-13
[12] Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. [13] And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Give someone you love a call or a hug, OK?
